These instructions are with table(s) added into the empty column you see after using the instruction provided by Floris & Jake Bunce tutorials in Quick Tips forum @ vBulletin.com. I have little changes, but in whole it is the same. This is for displaying under navbar menu. If you are using a portal, you can add modules within forum and those instruction are posted within other sites forums.
  1. Left Column Table
    Admin CP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Edit Templates {Drop Down Menu} > footer
    # find in template: footer

    # optional: to display in certain pages and not all, add conditional statement

    Code:
    $spacer_close
    <!-- /content area table -->

    <!-- leftside column -->

Yes, I do know many have posted variation of this and this is a variation of that. It is place under navbar and you may choose both to display at same time.

hello,

I have this mod installed however I am not able to fix a problem: the column jumps off on thread viewing and on memberlist, at least.

I believe I have followed all steps on the thread.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Ok when viewing index or inside a forum:

I have just set this up and it works however i have two questions:

How to i line it up to the main forum as it sits just to high. I have tried putting in padding on the top but it just reduces the main forum in width. I have tried putting a div around the table and that?s not working either

How to i separate the boxes?

Is anyone still supporting this? I am having an on going issue that is really doing my head in! I cannot get my right column to match the forum height or the left one. I am not using separate boxes (as I couldn?t establish that). When I have tried putting in a td padding its messes it up.

Could someone please reply!!!????

Old thread revival...

Just installed this. Working great only for one issue. I also have vb.Sponsors installed but for some reason, any forums which are not sponsored (i.e. should be in their original state without any modifications), the right column appears underneath the entire website. Anyone have any ideas?

Please ignore, now sorted. Found an extra bit of code that shouldn't have been there.
