Mini Mods - Forum Category Icons on Forum Home

Here is a hack that will add icons to your forum categories on the forum home page.

History: I was the originator of this hack back in the vBulletin 1.x days and decided to revive this as I didn't see one here and I needed it for my new site.

vBulletin 4.x.x version here.

any idea where to put the code to have my icons show?

it works perfect on my other skins, cause this level1_nopost template is diff from others

Yup, this works for Version 3.8.1, make sure you do the edits in the template.

I like the mod, useful but upon browsing your site noticed it is a free style offered here on vb.org and you removed the copyright to the author and placed your name. Please correct this issue before I use your mod - thanks!

The site looks ok so far but if in fact you stole the thunder I say shame on you sir and honestly it will embarass me being a fellow North Carolinian.

lol wtf? His mod isn't a STYLE it's a CATEGORY ICON PRODUCT! I just looked at the code of his product and it has nothing to do with creating a new style. It just simply adds the ability to add icons to forum categories. Try paying a bit more attention before you go being the forum police
