TomBot v1.1 vB AI User Bot · **Released**: 01-22-2003

Hi after reading the forums i have seen many people after a hack like this so here it is.

This has been installed and testing on a busy live server and it worked fine thats why im posting it in here right away.

I can not hack that much if theres a prob but i try my best to, i also add this is my first time so i have tryed my very best to make the install file easy to follow.

all the files you need are in the zip file just unzip it to your pc keeping the lay out how it is in the zip file and then following the install text file.

What does this hack do?

Basicy it add's a chat bot to a forum on your board that will reply to users posts.

if you wish the bot not to reply to a post inside of the forum its set up to reply in just add ### anywhere in your post and it will stop the bot from replying.

You may give the bot its own profile on the board eg av and sign to make it fit in abit better.

The bot will also learn things has it gets used more but if it gets to a point where it trys taking over the wrold please dont sue me.

I grabbed the newest version off of their site and im setting it up with that so lets hope it works with their newest version

Make sure you use the full set of AIML files from the original support site. The bot is much more intelligent with the full set.

Erwin, can you show me the direct download url at alice.org? Before I installed this hack, I downloaded the AIML files from alice.org to see if they are any different. At that time, the files I downloaded were identical to the ones included with the hack

Why don't you just redownload the zip file here if you want the hacks AIML files?

Maybe I wasn't clear. I am using the AIML files included with the Hack. And they were identical to the AIML files I downloaded from alice.org in the past. But Erwin mentioned some better, "full set". I'd be happy to find out where to get it from.

I believe he is just saying to ensure to install ALL the AIML files contained in the zip.

I don't think so. He talks about the original support site which is alicebot.org.

Let's see what Erwin says when he reads that.
