What does it do?

Features include global settings, advertisements allowing template conditionals, ad sharing and ad revenue sharing, timed advertisements, preset popular ad locations and functions such as sponsors, additional custom ad locations, random and static advertisements and its all very easy to use. You can use it for ordinary ads like adsense, banner rotations, or any content at all as well as using it to manage ads outside your forum too.

You can read in more detail about these and other features in the manual, which also contains some helpful notes and instructions, as well as the installation and upgrade instructions



If you are using autoinsertion and were using vB Ad Management before version 4.00, you will need to remove your old template edits or advertisements will appear multiple times. Just reverse the old instructions below.

* Find <!-- post $post[postid] popup menu --> and paste $postbit_advertisement above it in your postbit & postbit_legacy templates.
* Paste $forumbit_advertisement at the bottom of your forumhome_forumbit_level1_post and forumhome_forumbit_level2_post templates.
* Paste $threadbit_advertisement at the bottom of your threadbit template.
* Paste $footer_advertisement at the top of your footer template.
* Find $spacer_close in your footer template and below it paste $rightcolumn_advertisement.
* Find &nbsp; in your header template and replace it with $header_advertisement.
* Find $spacer_open in your header template and below it paste $leftcolumn_advertisement.

Bugs:

1. Remove Advertisements is linked with register.php !?

2. In Postbit and Footer all Ads are posted Twice and not once like in the navbar (s. Screenshot).

3. Archivelinks are totally invisible.

yes I agree you redlabour I've see some problem but can you delete old version and revert old templates modification I think its work twice

Are you sure you don't have the old codes from the previous version? Cause just installed mine and no double ad's

Ive just uninstalled the old 3.x version using the info provided and installed 4.01 on my 3.6.7 site.

The header ads work fine but postbit ads seem to be duplicated

They are also duplicated in threadbit and footer ads. All my ads are Google Adsense

Ive checked the posbit template and I can only see one reference to adverts
$template_hook[postbit_end]
$postbit_advertisement


Any ideas ?

Working nice.

A have two questions (and excuse my bad english)

First question. With this new version I can add different ads, ?how?

Example, In my forum I have a xxx zone. I want xxx advertisement on xxx forums, and normal advertisement on the other forums.


The other question, I have see in the postbit and threadbit options on my admincp this:

Enable "show threads" search advertisements on your forum?

Enable "show posts" search advertisements on your forum?

I put yes, but dont show nothing on the search results.

I not using automatic insertion, because I have the lines in the code from the previous version, now I think I need to add "$postbit_advertisement" on the search templates, but i dont where exactly on the code.

I dont want to use automatic insertion for better performance.

Try this in your template maybe:
