AutoLinker Lite is a keyword linker for vBulletin 3.7 upwards, 4.x, and vBulletin CMS. It allows the webmaster to configure particular words or phrases as keywords, which will then be automatically linked when they appear in user posts. As well as being hyperlinked, keywords can have pop-over info boxes, as in the image below:
These info boxes are highly configurable (colours, borders, fade in/fade out effect etc), and can contain html - meaning you can embed images, videos etc. Balloon-style boxes are also supported.
AutoLinker Lite has a flexible permissions system, allowing you to control which forums a given link appears in, and which usergroups it is visible too.
This is a free version of a commercial product, and contains a limit on the number of AutoLinks that you may create. Other than that, it is fully functional.
Please note that AutoLinks in the CMS do not work in vBulletin 4.0.0 and 4.0.1. 4.0.2 and upwards are fine.
A couple more images to hopefully whet your appetite:
dondavis: the lite version is limited to 5 links. Regarding Russian, do you mean a language pack for the admin console, or support for hyperlinking russian words? In answer to the first question, the admin area is only in English I'm afraid. For the second question, there shouldn't be any problems using it on a forum with Russian posts.
We have a very large forum - 253,000 members, 700,000 visitors per month.
We use AutoLinker for all sorts of things including affiliate links. It makes a huge difference because our members ask questions about where to source some item or other and when they submit their post and go and check it - as they all do, - they generally find that they have typed in a keyword and it has been automatically linked with our affilliate code already in place.
How does this mod handle keywords that include other keywords? For example if I enter both product and production, then what will happen when someone types the word production ?
And if I only enter 'product' then what will happen when someone posts the word 'production' ?
If you had 'product' as a keyword, and someone typed 'production', it wouldn't link it - it understands word boundaries, and doesn't hyperlink keywords that are part of a large word.
Hopefully that answers the question about if you had 'product' and 'production'; If 'production' was typed, only the 'production' keyword would be linked
Hi i am going to test the lite version on my VB4.0.2 PL4 installation and when i am satisfied can i upgrade to the commercial version without any problems ?

Yep, that won't be a problem. You'll be able to upgrade without losing any existing settings
