v3 Arcade is now a member of the vBadvanced family!
http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47571 The support forums & data from v3Arcade.com have been merged into the vBadvanced.com site. ================================= v3 Arcade for vBulletin ================================= *** IMPORTANT *** Version 2.0.0 has introduced a number of changes to the various file names, phrases, templates, etcetera. If you are using any 3rd party hacks/add-ons then they may need to be updated. Feel free to check over at v3Arcade.com with any questions you might have before upgrading. "v3 Arcade" is the premiere arcade system written specifically for vBulletin. It's coded from scratch - not a port of an older version - and because it was coded specifically for vBulletin it uses the product system for code modifications & utilizes AJAX technology throughout. Here's a brief rundown of the features in this version of v3 Arcade.
Branding Free ================================= All v3 Arcade installations carry and require a small "v3 Arcade" logo in the footer, as well as the text "Powered by v3 Arcade" which links to http:www.v3arcade.com. For information on legally removing the branding, please visit www.v3arcade.com. ================================= www.v3arcade.com ================================= If you're looking for more games, add-ons, support, tutorials, or anything Arcade related - www.v3arcade.com is the place to go. ================================= Copyright ================================= All code & images distributed in this zip is Copyright ?2009 CinVin, with the following exceptions:

@Pyro: Make sure you uploaded all of the files to your /includes folder.
@Ljuysa: "v32" game compatibility will be in the next version coming up (1.0.9). It is in beta right now being tested. Note: The current IBP => v3A converter does not yet support converting v32 games; an updated converter will be coming later. |

Ok, so this is what I did first. I took all of the folder called "files and added them into my includes folder. Then I tried to import the xml again and got the same error. Then I tried it like the install directions said. Just upload the files to my forums directory which i did. THen I tried importing the xml and the same error. So any ideas?

Please clarify... where exactly did you put the files?
In the zip is a folder named "files" and inside of that folder are several files and sub-folders. Everything inside of that "files" folder was to be uploaded to your forums folder, not your forums/includes folder. In other words, the "arcade.php" file for example should be (*if* your forums folder is named "forums") available at /forums/arcade.php and not /forums/includes/arcade.php. |

Ok, so my forums are called forums. I uploaded the files folder to my forums directory "forums" So in my ftp i see a directory called files next all my vbulletin directories, admincp, ext. So then once i uploaded that directory i went to my control panel in vbulletin and attempted to import the xml file. Then i got the error.

You shouldn't upload the "files" folder, you should only upload the contents of the "files" folder. You should not have a folder called "files" when you look via ftp.
So if you board is at http://www.yourforum.com/forum/ your arcade.php should be here: http://www.yourforum.com/forum/arcade.php Then upload all the files to their matching vb folders you already have admincp files to admincp folder images files to images folder... etc. Hope that helps. Quote:

Question: I just installed it, went into my usergroups to set the permissions, and discovered to my surprise, that they are in another language. Any thoughts about putting it into English?
Edit: It's all in a foreign language. How do I change it to English? NEVER MIND: We'll just call that one a "Brain Fart." lol |

Thanks for clarifying. You can get additional games at v3Arcade.com. The games that come included with the zip and the games offered in the Game Shop at v3A are made available with their creators permission. Let me guess.... French? |
