Miscellaneous Hacks - Sidebar Column

Description:
This MOD automatically create a sidebar column on the left or right in your forum.

Features:

• Show only Index or All Pages.
• Choose StyleID, which you want to use for the sidebar.
• User Infomation with Avatar
• Latest Threads
• Poll
• Advertisement
• Partner Links

Install:

1. Import Product via Manage Products
ACP >> Plugins & Products >> Manage Products >> [Add/Import Product]

Settings:
ACP >> vBulletin Options >> Sidebar Column Settings

History:
v3.8.001 : First Release
v3.8.002 : Add Option for StyleID

PS: Work fine with 3.7.x (Tested)

Can we have a separate block per Board/Forum ID?

Ex:

Lastest Threads on FORUM ID 1, 2 & 3 (GEN COMMUNITY)

Lastest Threads on FORUM ID 5, 6 & 7 ( FOR SALE SECTION)

Lastest Threads on FORUM ID 8 & 9 (TECH SUPPORT)

You can try sc_right below the navbar and sc_right_bottom at the beginning of the footer and then play around. If you don't understand basic HTML you're better off leaving it alone.

$sc_user, $sc_stats, $sc_latest_threads, $sc_ads & $sc_links can be arranged as you'd like them to appear of deleted at your preference. $sc_poll is a mess and probably should be avoided.

it is now working on my custom skin

inputing "styleid" 1 2 3 did not work, nor did "1,2,3" in the admin cp options.

i had to use this edit to get the side bar to showup on my custom style

as you can see it is not supported anymore

I disabled this sidebar and implemented vbAdvanced... look the Information Security Forum and you will see two sidebars...

This mod has never been 'supported' as it was released as 'not supported'.

But, the community members have helped along the way.

I cant get rid of this mod! When I uninstall or even just disable my forum shows a blank page! (well actually it does display the background image but nothing else).

Anyone else had this problem? I want rid.

Works perfect on my site, even managed to add a scrolling "news & Information" block

Found the problem - it was my code not Sidebar. Sidebar did stop Google Street View working properly in IE8 though! Which is why I have got rid.
