It is advised. This will allow you to track user statistics for FREE using AddThis.com

You can visit AddThis.com to format the code however, without it.

thanks joomla , I have had this before but this is a good spot for it.

just go to addthis.com , sign up get your own button code and replace the red code
with your own you get from addthis.com

I didn't know you could track stats with addthis
I've used sharethis (http://sharethis.com/) to do the same but I didn't like the load time.
I'll try it with the addthis code to see how bad it is
