This mod translates your forum using FREE translations for over 30 languages from Yandex API. It is 100% FREE in version described here (2.x).
Note: using this mod (vBET 2.x) is free and bound by license agreement (see below)

Yandex translation gives you 1 000 000 FREE characters per DAY to translate. Please note that Yandex do not supports all language pairs, but vBET detects automatically which are supported for your forum language.

Please note that vBET 3.x is developed as separate product line and it is available here: vBET 3.x. Full version is paid, it supports 53 languages each to each translation, using: Google, Microsoft, Apertium, Yandex, SDL BeGlobal and DetectLanguage. It has lot of optimizations for booth performance and translations costs.

Installation:
1. Download zip package (last release - see index at the end of file name)
2. Upload to your forum directory on server everything inside upload directory
3. Import in vB Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product -> Choose product file, set Allow Overwrite to yes and click Import
4. Click here: "Mark as Installed" Thanks!
5. Configure in AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> vB Enterprise Translator
You MUST configure at least Forum language and Yandex Translation API key. NOTE that there are some other important options - especially if your forum is in subdirectory or if you use vbSEO.

- link for page on which you are doesn't track translation, cause it has same URL as flag for forum default language

Added support for:

2.3.6 Important fix! - there was issue with sending referrer header which is necessary by Google conditions. This one was fixed + issue with # in translation links
2.3.5 Important change - According to Google conditions referrer header must be added to each translation query - otherwise you can be banned by Google. Install this version to avoid any troubles.

- Added referrer header for Google translation queries
- Corrected bug for returning to forum main page from translated page
Also according to actual Google conditions your "Powered by Google" information should have Google logo. So please change text for flags in your vBET configuration to something like this:

You can customize it but "Powered by Google" should stay.

Other things - global is weeeeeeeek. Just compare list of features. Also it is ugly with installation.

And more important My is much, much, much , much faster. Faster, better, easier, and more powerful.

Hi,
with the 1st version of vB Global Translato Mod i had some problems.
Do a have request of some spiders my server stop working.

In the Moment I use the Mod of NLP-er. But I cant say if the problems stops because of the new Mod or because I block that spider in the firewall.
But the Mod from NLP-er is much faster.

And Users have the possibility to chose their language so everything they writing will be translated and other User might answer in their mother language.
I do have two threads in other languages.
On of them is a real success story.
Its a girl from Brazil. She register to my forum 2 Years ago as she plans move to Germany. Now she find my forum again on Google with a translated page.
And she find the possibility to select her language in her settings.
I just had a long telephone call with her. She is real glad that she could write in Portuguese and the answers in German are translated. She find help an new contact's here in Germany.
With the Mod from NLP-er is is possible to create real international community's.

If I translate a thread and then want to return to forumhome and click on my logo it redirectes to http://www.2-wheel-planet.de/en and then I get an 400 failure message?!?



How much ressources does this addon needs?

Your url suppose to be http://www.2-wheel-planet.de/en/, it's missing a slash.
What is the htaccess you have for vbet?

How much resource as in what? Mysql space usage?

It will support 4.0 - booth free and commercial version

You can switch from free version to paid one any time. However if you use vBSEO it would be best for you to make it faster than slower. It is because in such configuration you have great support of vBET to translate threat links So Google will index your translated pages under links with keywords in translated language

I would be really glad if you can write it on vBET forum Anyway - my congratulations!!! Make sure that people will understand that they have this possibility and you will get lot of new users. They will bring you theirs friends Other forums don't gives them what you can give them now. So - it is good to write some word about multi language support in message for guests

I see it. Thanks for notice - I will correct it in next release. For booth versions of course As I announces vBET 2.x will be maintained.

Sorry but I cannot reproduce it on my 4 forums (2 real, 2 test) in different configurations. Can you PM me Access Details to your FTP (I think I will not need Admin CP). It would help me to find out what happens.

Ok I have it corrected and tested already (thanks 45Wheelgun for access :up It will be included in next release.

About resources. It will take quite of space in your DB for cache, but hard drive is not an issue in this time and all data are indexed so access is immediate

Yes - vBET is missing this slash, but I cannot reproduce it on my forum, so it is very good question about htaccess rules
