Integration with vBulletin - YAFB - Yay! Another Facebook Bridge

The add-on has been updated to reflect Facebook new policy starting October 1st (read more here). Basically this is a maintenance update for user of this add-on from the past. The add-on now supports vBulletin 3.8.x only. In this new version, there are only the basic features: register and login (some simple sharing too). It keeps old settings so you don't need to re-configure.

How to update (this is important):
1. Disable the add-on in AdminCP
2. Upload files in the package (make sure you disable the add-on before uploading)
3. Import the xml in the package, choose Yes to rewrite.
4. Re-enable the add-on
5. Done

Just remember to disable the add-on before uploading files and you will be okie.

A little note for attachment downloads:
- YAFB v1.4 had been downloaded 36 times before I removed it
- YAFB v1.5: 4 downloads, YAFB v1.5.1: 26 downloads, YAFB v1.6: 29 downloads, YAFB v1.7: 22 downloads, YAFB v1.8: 48 downloads
- YAFB v1.9: 150 downloads
- YAFB v2.0: 31 downloads, YAFB v2.0.1: 10 downloads, YAFB v2.0.2: 49 downloads, YAFB v2.1: 55 downloads; YAFB v2.2: 1210 downloads; YAFB v2.2.5: 661 downloads

Forum is running in 8859-2 codepage, and vBS removed UTF compliance from vB4 feature list :-(

ps. Removed privacy settings from my profile, now all Facebook users can see block.

Great, but I'm not happy with the result, because YAFB is the best Facebook hack ever with quick install, awesome features and great support, So I expect more Installs and more Votes. Good luck mate

Do you have any solution for the database tables size, I think the tables are going too heavy..

The links table will slow down it's growing rate soon because old records will be updated instead of inserting. And the logs, only needed information is stored but if your board has a lot of actions, it can grow fast. I think I will add a truncate function, right?

Anyway, I want to let you know that Facebook Team decided to change their policy with application to prevent spam (from games like +++++ Wars and kind of Farms) so... I think we will have some problem in communicating with our users in Facebook soon. As I heard, the notification system will be altered. I am currently using fb connect user and I like how I can set it up so the only thing fb connect does is user login and 1 news feed when the user is registering to my site.

I don't want my user to post some stuff on my forum and automatically publish it on their facebook wall. Basically I want YAFB to only handle the login process. Is that possible with yafb? I've been reading the last 30 pages of the discussion but I can't really get the answer.

Any known migrating issue problem from fb connect to yafb?
After the migration, the user won't notice a thing right?

Okay I just installed the plugin into my forum.
The biggest drawback is having a facebook link on the contact info of the profile page.
How do I remove that?

Also what happen if a user register through facebook and then click the option to disconnect from facebook and then log out from the forum?
It seems that the user won't be able to login again.

I also want to know the code for the "Connect with Facebook" button.
I'd like to put it somewhere else.

it's from the old installation of fb connect.
Find the code on your header / navbar template, I can't remember which one.
