About this hack:
One of the biggest problems on forums as you may know is 'posts boosting'. There are users who LOVE to say 'thanks' when ever they can. How can it hurt? Their post count goes up, they have nothing to loose.

There are also users who really like to express their thanks to post but don't like posting a post that looks like they're post boosting.

Then comes the moderators who have to delete people's thanks yous so a thread can look readable with out the thanks yous thrown around.

Finally comes the posters of these useful posts. They have no idea how many people really likes their posts if only some people say 'thanks'.

What this hack does is fix ALL these problems - except those users who like post boosting. This places a button called 'thanks.' When a user clicks on it, it places his username in a box right under the post saying that so-and-so says 'thanks' for the post. Every-one who clicks is placed in one box.

By giving your users the extra feature, you forum will look allot nice and organized. It is a guaranteed liking by ALL the members of your forum.

Not Better, the problem seems to come from the line 180 in functions_post_thanks.php

$post_ids = "0$postids";

Edit : And i have the same mysql error when i click in a public holiday on the footer of the calendar page

I've uploaded all the files to the correct place. I have button in my styles folder, enabled all ajax features through the general settings.

The problem is, it doesn't show the thank you button. It shows the thank you information in the postbit above my posts, and also in the usercp, but the button in posts doesn't show. I check it with Firebug and I can see the code is there, and the image is in the correct place.

Any idea why it won't show? Running 3.8.4.

What is the exact full path to the image you are using?
I had a similar issue once where I had something like /forums/images/picname.gif instead of just /images/picname.gif

Didn't put my url as it's not finished yet. Should I put the full URL to the image?

I am trying to install on 3.8.5 but it just keeps saying 'please wait' when i add the product, it wont go any further.

any ideas?

Have you uploaded all the other files to the correct place using ftp in ASCii mode?, what other hacks do you have installed?

I have managed to reinstall thanks hack & used syntax to update tables from my db back up, but since i have done that one of the tables is not updating it self any more, I?m talking here about Thanked Posts list in UserCp, any ideas how to make it work without another re installation ?
