Hey there,
I don't know what went wrong, but all of a sudden the VB image host stopped working in a testing-forum of mine (vb3.6.9). It worked quite normal and fine, the next day I cannot upload pictures anymore, I now get this error message: Code:
Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Read error! in /vbimghost.php on line 647 Do you have any ideas what I could do? I don't want to miss this great add-on!! Thanks a lot! |

Sorry, just to let you kow: it IS in fact absolutely working with vB 3.6.9.
The problems I had came from another reason and had nothing to do with the VB Image Hosting |

Since I'm a newb (and got blurred vision from reading too many posts in this thread ), can I have someone post why I would want someone to use my servers to upload their images? Is there an advantage to me doing so as far as traffic to my site, etc?
How has it helped others? Again, be gentle...I'm new. |

Does anyone else have this working with 3.6.9 successfully without jumping through a bunch of hoops? I'm a bit worried about upgrading and losing this great mod.

Got a minor issue with this.
If i upload a widescreen screenshot at 1680*1050 res, it uplaods and returns me to a completly blank screen [no error message at all] If i resize the image locally on my PC to 1280*768 and upload again, it works perfectly. I have max image dimensions set to 2000*2000, file size is also well below the limit i have set. Running on vb 3.6.8 |
