Removed by the Author because:
For 7 mods, there are 1905 downloads but only 577 clicked installed.
For these 577 installs I got 4 donations for Brand Free. Make a simple search on the net using the product name and you'll find that 50% have illegally removed my copyright.
I found 3 vb.org style sites, offering for download my mods but after PAID SUBSCRIPTION, or DONATION
After all, I'll stop be the idiot on this market.

2.- Installation
Upload all files and directories including at "vbulletin" directory to the directory where vBulletin is installed.
CMOD the following directories to 777
/photos (inside classifieds directory)
/tmp (inside classifieds/photos directory)
/thumbs (inside classifieds/photos directory)
For security reasons backup your database AND turn your board off
Check at your AdminCP->vBulletin Options->Plugin/Hook System that Plugin system is enabled.
From your AdminCP->Plugin System->Manage Products choose Add/Import Product and import the product: product_classifieds.xml
If you want to add a link to your nav bar then you must edit the NAVBAR template:
Search For:
Code:
<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td>
Add Below:
Code:
<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="classifieds.php$session[sessionurl_q]">Classifieds</a></td>
....or use any other word you want
By default none usergroup has permissions to use vbfclassifieds, so you need to give permissions to any group. Goto AdminCP->Usergroups->Usergroup Manager and edit any usergroup you like to give permissions.
If you've installed vbSEO, Login into vbSEO Control Panel, click "Custom Rewrite Rules", insert rewrite rules (attached in vbseo-rules.txt to not lose formatting) and save settings.
4.- Copyright
You can modify the code as you like to meet your special needs
You can distribute this code, but NOT FOR PROFIT
My copyright link must remain always visible.
I'm not accepting donations
There is no commercial version. This is the one.
5.- Copyright Removal
For those who want to remove my link back which appears at the page's footer, they must contact me. Please note that the the license goes by person and not by domain, so you can use it in as many domains are operating by the same person.
1. make fields mandatory or options
2. allow integer as type
3. have a variable set to check if the classifieds site is free (show no paypal/payment block on ad creation page)
4. optional fields are shown too close together, space them a little?
5. ads can still be added to a parent category even if option is set to no ads allowed (atleast by a administrator level user)..
In this case, I think that I'll remove vbseo rules from the package. I'm not familiar with them and the only reason that I added them is because I know that many members wanted to have them. I paid (a lot I can say) money to someone to write them. Is not bad to admit that I don't know even how vbseo works in the site. I prefer to continue with my own code which I can support.
Mary
Don't pull it out of the package yet, see what vbSEO says. I'd put a note in the package to comment out the first line of the vbSEO rules. But other than that, leave it in.
I think the problem with the first line of the rewrite rules is that there is an actual directory called "classifieds" If you change the rewrite rule to point to something else it will work

e.g.
Code:
'^classifieds\.php'=>'adverts/'
Or change the name of the directory that the files are in.
I need this hack a lot!!.
I install and works perfect, thanks Mary!
At the momment the only think that would be very very nice to had, is the option of contact the seller wen the user buy an item, maybe sending and email o pm instead to be redirected to paypal, becouse in my country we dont use paypal.
