Following is a non-exhaustive list:

• Simple install
• Ajax based with:
  • Fast and Intelligent chats retrieval through javascript calls to server files (refresh delay configurable per usergroup)
  • Edit/update by double-clicking on a chat
  • Interact on chats through menus and javascript
• Many usergroup permissions to limit features according to usergroups
• Full configuration of the chatbox display:
  Size, position on forum pages, editor layout (either top/bottom input or left/right textarea) and position, number of chats displayed, ...

Well from that screenshot it looks like hes trying to integrate it into Dartho's Mobile style, which from what I remember automatically disabled chats (VSa's, this one, and a few others) due to problems getting them to run in the style.

You have an option to disable the chatbox in certain style (IT's impossible to autoguess that a style is a mobile one, there is no option or so defining that).

If you are talking about Tools >> Java Console then i m not getting anything there.. plus i have tested this in all browser, even on mobile devices...

Plus: This chatbox works fine on mobile device with different theme...

Actually that Mobile Style comes with an option where I get this option:

I change that value From:

//Disables MGC Chatbox
$vbulletin->options['mgc_cb_evo_active']=0;

To

//Disables MGC Chatbox
$vbulletin->options['mgc_cb_evo_active']=1;

and when you leave that to 0, it wont even show what you have seen in my previous given screenshot.

My private chat is not working, in settings cant find option to turn it off or on, within usergroups also?

Also is it possible to store chats in some thread (on every X of chats) so that spiders can see that (or archives do that already)?
What would be best for search engines regariding to visibility?

When chat widget will be option?

What exactly isn't working about private chat?

In the "manage command" options you need to turn on the /pm command.

And there you press the button "OK" to edit permissions for usergroups.

Storing chats is possible, you can download it by pressing the 'archive' link above the chatbox.

Your question about spiders being able to see the chatbox or not, i don't know.

Widget(s) will be released on next version i've heard.

Hello everyone.

I've just attempted to install and run into a problem I've not seen before - wondering if I've done something silly, indeed.

Anyhow, when the product is disabled, everything is fine. When it's enabled, ah, about as different as possible. I essentially killed the site! Nothing on the screen whatsoever. Backing up in another window to reach the cp is fine, which saved me from being totally locked out of the site.

Any ideas?

For those having an issue with smilies not getting added to the chatbox input field when on the "More" page, here is a fix.

Edit the mgc_cb_evo.php file search for :

$template_hook['headinclude_bottom_css']

Replace it by :

$headinclude_bottom
