Yet Another Mass Private Message System

This mod has been nominated for mod of the month April 2007. Please go to the poll and vote. Thanks

Hack Version: 1.0.1.070310
Compatible vB version: 3.6.x
Support: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=141622

NOTE:
This hack is not related to, nor using Zero Tolerance's "Admin Mass PM Members" hack.
Although this is a new hack, I still would say thanks to insanctus, Oblivion Knight and Zero Tolerance for their idea and hacks on sending mass PM from admincp. I also want to thank the members who need this hack badly, and support it.

DESCRIPTION:

This system allows admins to send mass private message to members from AdminCP
Some options:
- Detail user search condition, so you can send PM to diffent usergroups, that satisfy different condition
- Send "Test" Private Message,
- Allow/disable smilies
- Override "Receive Private Messages = NO" option?
- set number of PMs to send at once
- Use different user as Sender (by userid)

So, this mod will allow me to send PMs to all of my members from within the AdminCP just like the e-mails I send.

Is there an option (admittedly, I haven't read all 17 pages, yet) so that I can have my mods do the same?

I have just uploaded on 3.6.5 and it crashed the site. The installation went fine and I sent out the pm's - 100,000+ But then, the site went down.

I can't access the forums. I can access the admincp, and going through it I can access and use pm, usercp, subscribed threads, etc, but as soon as I click on a thread, I get the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Same message when I go to the Forums homepage.

This was the message from the server tech support:

"Alright, well the issue seems to be related to vbulletin. I have checked the apache logs for errors and am seeing nothing related to the issue. I have also tried restarting the database and webserver to no avail. I have done some searching around to see if anyone else has ever had the same issue and it seems to normally be related to changes-gone-wrong to the vbulletin application. I would try changing themes or templates via the admin control panel if possible. Have you made any changes to this application recently?

Regards,
Matt Poletiek

Hi there,
I cant seem to install your product on my 3.6.8 vB instance. It keeps giving me an "Invalid File Specified" error when I try an import.I placed your files in their respective admincp & xml folders but no cigar.
Any clue on what might be wrong?
Thanks!
