Avatar Hack: Categories & Usergroups

With this hack it is possible to use categories for avatars.

Latest version: 1.31 (9-29-2002)

Features:
- Tested with vBulletin 2.2.5, 2.2.6 RC, 2.2.6 Final
- categories can be activated and deactivated
- hide single categories general (v1.25.2)
- hide single categories on FAQ page (v1.25.2)
- sorting order of the categories (v1.25.2)
- browse custom avatars (v1.25.2)
- add multiple avatar categories (v1.25.2)
- avatar statistics (v1.25.2)
- Provide definite custom avatars also for other users (v1.30)
- category permissions (Usergroups) for each individual group adjustable
- all (global) categories permissions enabled/disable
- show up 'not categorized avatars' enable/disable
- hide empty categories
- category selection per select menue
- no select menue, if no categories or categories deactivated
- bug fixing in original member.php: "0 to 0 of 0" instead "1 to 0 of 0"
- show up 'no avatars available' instead nothing if 0 avatars
- replace avatar name by avatar filename (without file extension).
- upload/add: Set default Avatarname to Filename (without file extension)
- remove all avatar names.
- tip,if different minimum post settings for individual avatars in categories
- edit avatar option: with view of avatar / list of users (v1.25.2)
- mass move avatars
- move/remove selected avatars (v1.25.1)

- dynamic display width: If number avatars on screen < display width then display width = number avatars

I am Spanish, and do not understand very much English. But... I it have done 5 times but .. it me does not work.

I can create categories, but .. I do not see them.

It's a good hack, but it dosen't work in VB 2.3.3. All the pages show up, and I followed the modifications, and templates - but the categories don't show up on member.php

The list of categories goes out for me quite less on the menu of avatars. why?

Hi! I used this hack in my vBulletin v 2.3.4 . I followed all the steps, and i have now the categories in CSS, but i can't see the avatars (although there's the number of avatars behind the categories). Anybody knows the problem?? Thanx

I am using VB 2.3.4, and I installed the av category's, and everything worked alright - and I did those changes you suggested to the member.php.

But, when I click a category, all the avatars show up, even if they aren't in that category...

Hi! I did all the installation again, and now i can see the avatars in 5x5 tables, but i still have problems.

1st - I have several categories, but i always see the same avatars in all the categories. Only 50, but always the same, the last i upload.

2nd - Avatars have an order, but when i upload them, their order is random.

If somebody knows the problem, please answer me. Thanx a lot
