I am having a little problem with this hack, it installed fine and works. However in the actual catagories in the user cp they catagories bleed into one another. I have a catagory for buffy and one for angel, and they avs are mixing. I am using vb 2.3.2
I am also recieving this error "Parse error: parse error in /home/thelega/public_html/forum/admin/user.php on line 671" |

after changing server the avatar cat. hack isn't working. It shows all avatars, members can choose one but it is not updating the existing custom (url) avatar or if they haven't one...! We're on vb 2.0.6 and it has worked perfect but now i wonder what to do. I've chmod 777 the avatar_categ.php but that doesn't work eighter.

just an FYI
if you are installing this hack for the first time.....there is no mention of the changes needing to be made to register.php, you will have to find them in the other links listed in the sqltodos.php also.....if you have not categorized avatars....those are the only ones that will appear in the list during the registration process...none of the ones in the categories will appear in the list My solution to that was to disallow the selection of an avatar in the registration process by removing the code from the template... they can go to their usercp to select one since everything shows properly in there. also.....according to the screen shots.....the word "hidden" in red by categories I am assuming that you have sent so only admin/mods can select....there is nothing referencing that in any of the hack that I can find otherwise...I got this working fine without too much hassle other than finding and fixing my own mistakes |
