I just installed this hack, works perfect for members changing their avatars, but I had a question about the avatar faq page. This may seem minor but are the categories supposed to show up under the avatar faq page? They show up when you go to change your avatar but not here. Any idea?
Here's the faq page |

Works Great, Thanks!
Never run auto_installs! always hand code it.. lol.. I ran the auto_install, and that just made the hand coding a wee harder, when the auto install failed with about 60% of the things it was supposed to do... ;( Because then you have to figure out what the auto-install did, and then what you need to do.. (hehe) Anyhow was very easy to setup and works great so far.. Is there a way to set what Category is displayed first? (Order Categories) |

The problem with auto install, is you would first have to give
the correct permissions to the files (777)..... It did most everything but edit the files themself.. EX: It handled the MySQL end, and the template edits.. But did not edit the .php files. *FYI* |

just wondering if there's option to choose either absolute path and relative path:
Since some ppl prefer to use other server for hosting images instead so that won't hog the forum's performance down cheers. |

I just finished putting together the avatar category hack [again.. heh heh] and when I uploaded, the picture wasn't there. Just a broken link. I scanned the files and found 3 lines in red in the avatar_category.php...
1. echo "<img src='../$avatarpath/$FileArray[$x]' border=0 align='center'>"; 2. maketableheader("Edit Avatar:</b><i> $avatar[title]</i><img align=\"absmiddle\" src=\"../$avatar[avatarpath]\">","",0); 3. echo "<td valign='bottom' nowrap align='center'><img src=\"".iif(substr($avatar['avatarpath'],0,7)!="http://" and substr($avatar['avatarpath'],0,1)!="/","../","")."$avatar[avatarpath]\"><br><b>$avatar[title]</b><br>$current_cat\n"; Anyone know the magic words? Please? Thanks bunches! |

Occurs with all avatars or only with certain avatars?
Did you upload the avatars in the CP (CP -> Avatars / Categories -> Modify -> add/upload -> Upload New Avatar) or beforehand by ftp did upload and then added in CP (CP -> Avatars / Categories -> Modify -> add/upload -> Add a single/multiple avatars)? The red-marked lines are by the way ok. That is because of the fact that it is not a HTML code and your program cannot interpret other code (for example Perl or PHP) probably. |
