i did the work and redid the xml to remove the buttons and put text links instead

then reloaded the journal and works good

Anyone else get this, tried to delete comment from member;

Also seem to be missing the moods, drop down area on the journal page has none, yet I see add moods in the admincp.

I get this:

The journal module has been deactivated.

Yes, usergroup permissions are set up, Yes, vBJournal settings are correct and it IS on.

I think you have to click save on the vBJournal settings page (even though they're turned on). I had the same problem but it went away after I clicked "save".

Can someone explain to me how to check if a user has a journal, then to display a link to it in the Postbit?

Basically, I'm looking to make a little icon that displays in the postbit_legacy if the user has a journal, but if they don't have one, it wouldn't display.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, it's already in the user dropdown menu thing when you click on their username.

So:

Make sure you are using Version 1.0.2 Alpha 1 Build 2; both Problems should be fixed there.

It will work, but the installation does not work 100% if you are upgrading from a 3.0 installation.
