Okay say you got a member named john. John posts 5 journal entries per week. one on monday tuesday wednesday thursday and friday.

is it possible to show the latest 5 journal entries in Johns profile.
But not only johns everyones..

now when i say title i meant the title of there journal...

Like monday john says

I bought a new car
Journals entry today i went and bought a new car its very fast and sporty.... so on and so on..

Now instead of showing the actual entry in the profile

i just want to be able to show the title. then if someone views johns profile he will see his last 5 entries and if he or she clicks johns profile journal entry it will bring them to the actual jorunal entry so they can read the story

thats why I asked in a post above if it was stable with 4.1+ or not, above. I'm using 4.1.15 mysql and php 4.4.1 ..

Works with VB 3.5.1 on my dedicated server which has PHP 4.3.11 and MySQL 4.1.11-standard-log

This is what's putting me off trying this hack out the shared server I'm on is using 4.1.x.

The only issue with mySQL 4.1+ could be if you are using special character sets and private journals/entries (might end up with mySQL errors) - but not necessarily.
Except that it is working fine (my server is running 4.1 as well).
Beta 2 will change the database schema slightly to avoid such issues.

Small issue/suggestion: Clicking a link under "Latest Entries" opens the entry in a VB type "View single Journal Entry" in the same browser window but that window has a "Close this window" button which when pressed then closes the whole of the board. Would be nice if the link opens in a new browser window.
