Major Additions - Forum Tournaments & Ladders

[Script Demo] [Version History]
Compatible with 3.6.x, 3.7.x, 3.8.x

Tournament Description:
Users or teams can join tournaments. Once full the tournament starts. In single elimination tournaments competitors progress through rounds of tournament with the number of rounds depending on the number of players in tournament which is set on tournament creation. Last Man Standing Tournaments also supported.

Ladder Description:
Users or teams can also join ladders and challenge other players or teams in the ladder. Elo rating system is used which calculates the difficultly of a match according to the players' ranks and this is taken into account when the ranks are updated after the match is finished.

Installation:

1. Follow instructions included in .zip
2. If you are using v3.6.x you will need to download this product file and import it
   (It contains memberinfo css which is used in profile comments in v3.7.x and is in used in Tournaments Comments and Team Profiles)
3. Click Install

For tournaments the scores can be inputted by tournament admin or tournament creator

For ladders the scores are inputted by the challenger and challenged or by an admin.

I noticed something this morning that if I use the Tournament Tools menu option to "PM me the Details" on an existing Tournament (either one that I created or otherwise), I get a vBulletin error message saying

I looked it up and my user ID on the site is 35...

It looks like I'm using ver 2.7.4 Probably just a syntax error or something

New bug with the BYE system... I setup two tournaments... both requiring 64 players...

One of them got 64 players, and the tournament automatically started... but it DROPPED the last player and now lists the tournament at 63 players with a blank spot at the end...

The other tournament only reached 56 players, and we started the tournament manually. It automatically filled in the missing spots with "Bye Player" and properly put the players at 64.

It's not problem with byes its a problem with something else. That player has somehow been deleted - did that competitor leave tournament?
