I just wanted to  compliment you on such a fine MOD. After installing your Event Attendance as well as this one, things are running MUCH smoother on my board now. Almost like magic, at last!

Sorry, VTXCafe. I cannot support version 3.5.x any longer because I do not have a sandbox to test it in. If someone else wants to tackle this problem in 3.5.x and post it here, that would be most appreciated.

Does anyone know if I could incorporate this hack with the form hack here:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=126676

Instead of people being able to post whatever they wanted in the new event, I'd like to use a form instead so every event is uniform and allows people to search for certain characteristics within an event.

Chris

someone tackle this please???? LOL...i also would need it for 3.5.4 and would greatly appreciate any help someone could give on fixing the problem ...worst case scenario is I update to 3.6.x, but it's a cumbersome task, and i would prefer to stick with 3.5.4 for now....

Ok, I must be missing something. I had neither Event Attendance, nor Event Forums before today. BOth sounded perfect for my site (we are a Jeep club in North Texas). SO after reading about both mods, and this integration hack, I installed all three. They were done:

1) Event Forums
2) Event Attendance
3) This mod

So, I can creat an event, and it makes the thread, but I can not see a thing about the RSVP. In my CP, I do see Farcaster's Event Attendance. I'm running 3.6.2. Any ideas what I missed?

Also, we are getting ready to update to 3.6.5, any known issues with that update?

Hi, Just installed this mod in my golf forum in Taiwan. I had the same problem. I checked the code and fixed it.
This problem is caused by the difference of the function fetch_phrase(). you should check all the fetch_phrase() in the xml file, and change all the string 'calendar' to '5'. I hope this would help you.....

Is there a way to have it NOT show who is attending to regular users but perhaps only administrators or moderators? I want to keep attendance information private except for pure numbers, so it would be fine to say "12 people accepted, 3 maybe, 2 can't make it". My users are concerned over anonymity and would not want their usernames showing.
