Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible for thread notification to change who the email is from, right now it sends it from the board title, however my title is optimized keywords so it sends them an email from 3 optimized keywords that I have chosed is there a way to change this. Thanks |

This is a good question and perhaps this would be an excellent addition to the next release. Maybe in admin they can add a field in the email section where you can simple define the email name and address which the system should use to overwrite the default if it has been filled in

ok here is the way I did it, goto your phrase manager and add a phrase, the one I added was : email_from_send then i went through /includes/class_mail.php and searched for $vbulletin->options['bbtitle'] and replaced with, $vbphrase['email_from_send'] I just tested and it works good. |

maybe just change your title for now to something appropriate and then add the hack that enables you to add title description and meta tags to each forum. You can then copy your existing title info into each of those and even tweak them a bit for additional forum relevent tags. I think I saw the updated hack for this on the current vbulletin.org homepage
