Version 2.3.0 of LDM is now the official release. This works with both VB3.7 and VB3.8. You can obtain it here

Version 2.2.8 remains available here, with limited support.

04.02.08: patch-cat.xml 'extra' uploaded - see first post for information

27.10.07: Version 2.2.8-post1 uploaded
French translation of product installer uploaded (other language translations are in the main release zip)

Remember to back up your current database tables before upgrading.

What this is and does

LDM is a general-purpose link and file manager, which handles user uploads and downloads in a flexible way. A range of media players is integrated into LDM and others are included as plugin extras. LDM is described below in the first post of this thread, which also contains a brief list of the currently-known bugs.

This release of LDM works correctly with all VB versions 3.6.x and recent versions of vbadvanced.

Documentation, screen shots, etc, are provided as a Wiki at http://www.eirma.org/wikis/index.php...nloads_Manager

Thank you to everyone who has tested, given suggestions, helped with the translations, etc.

Here is a new plugin to restrict user downloads/media plays according to time of day. After installation, you will find a new section on the LDM admin/settings page, where you can set the controls as you wish.

Pls let me know if this works/meets your needs, and I will make it part of the next release.

Sorry, if my question is double, but I don't find it.

Is it possible the upload directory set up to another server?

LDM itself cannot handle uploads to another server - the php routines it uses only work on the same server. However, if you use another tool (e.g. FP) to upload to the second server, LDM can certainly manage the downloads.

Slave, my friend - I got round to writing a vbadvanced module to do a tagcloud. See attached. I'd like your thoughts.

The module has a few settings:
- words size based on (keyword frequency) or (keyword frquency*total hits)
- linear scaling within the specified range of text sizes or logarithmic scaling within that range
- options for the number of keywords to display
- no colour coding as yet

Suggestions?

Nice one Andrew

Hmm .. I think the only things missing, from the options you mention, is the ability to deny some words from showing and for it to be able to cope with being either in the centre or side columns.

I think that as well as the vba module it would be very nice to have this as an option for the front/any page of LDM at the top/bottom etc. Just give people as much customisation as possible. In respect of the vba module where it shows is already covered via the vba options.

[S]If it currently goes with the amount of times a keyword is used. Perhaps also have an option to go via the amount of times a keywords links are clicked?[/S] - Ah ha, you've already said that

Looks very good so far

Andrew thank you very very much. Will install it and if I don't post back it is working perfectly.
Excellent support bro.

Hello Andrew

What template is the one that shows the php information in the main administration menu?
I think is missing some <br> and is stretching the left column. see picture attached.

I recall someone else also asked this question. Problem is that your open_basedir setting is very long, and it's forcing the table to spread.

Edit the links_admin_environment template, and find and remove the lines

Code:
<br />
<em>open_basedir</em> <if condition="$open_basedir">$open_basedir<else />$vbphrase[ll_unset]</if>
There is supposed to be a CSS styling feature that will automatically wrap long text (style="word-break: break-all") but it only seems to work with internet explorer, not Mozilla or Opera.
