It creates the thread immediately after the event is created and binds the two together so that if the event is deleted or updated, so is the thread.
Well I already have a couple events that were created months ago, and are you saying it only creates one thread for the lifetime of the event? I would like it to create a new thread each time the event happens and lock old event threads.

It will not do that as which was said the event and forum thread are tied together.
Ok so how do I make an existing event be posted on the forums?
And can you please implement the feature so that old events get locked, and new events (even if re-occuring) are posted again in the forum?

Some people are having a issue where it hangs up. Your server has a limit set. So its returning that error. The others it just hangs. I am looking to see what the problem could be. So far I can not reproduce it.
Hey man I upgraded to 1.0 no problem, but upgrading to 1.01 gives me an SQL error. I need to upgrade as I have over 50 active events at the moment and don't want to lose the assosciation. How can we get around this error?

Open the xml file and remove the install code.
That will be every thing in between the <codes> and </codes>.
Thanks. That worked however it didn't overwrite the other version and now I have 1.0 and 1.0.1 installed. I disabled 1.0 and everything is okay but I don't want to remove 1.0 if it is going to alter the SQL data.
One other problem I am having is that only administrators can edit an event. I've triple checked the user permissions for the Registered Usergroup and they have full permission to work on the calendar, but the only option I get as a registered user is "Request Reminder for this event". Am I missing something to get nonadministrators the ability to edit/delete their events?

Go in to the old version before you remove it. In the products manager. In the drop down select edit. Go in and remove the install code and the uninstall code before you remove it.
As for the permissions problem check all your settings for the calendar and the user groups.
If you look at the attachment you will see a edit button for the event.
