Importer from Abe's Thanks mod (vB3 / vB4) and vBSEO "Likes" now available in Lite version!

Major Features: Lite

Require a Button Click: Allows you to hide the content of a post, or hie an attachment, until the person clicks a button on the post.

Statistics: Shows the top 5 people for; Giving / Receiving button clicks.

Collapsable postbit stats: Shows how many button clicks a person has given, received etc in the postbit. Admins can determine what statistics can show in the postbit to control sizes etc. The postbit is also collapsable.

Admin Permissions: Control things such as who can click buttons, require button clicks, what shows in postbit, what options can run concurrently, per forum permisions etc.

Reputation: Add / Remove Reputation for each of your button clicks.

Notifications: Receive alerts when a member clicked on one of the buttons for one of your posts.

Import Thanks: Import script to import "thanks" from Abe's [AJAX] Post Thank You Hack on vBulletin.org. It will work with both vB3 and vB4 versions of this mod.

Import Likes: Import script to import "likes" from vBSEO.

Major Features: Pro

Infinite Buttons: Ability to create new buttons to press! No longer do you need to be limited by Thanks / Like / Dislike.

Auto Collapse Posts: Collapses a post so it doesnt show up by using a formulae for button clicks of your choosing.

User Postbit Config: Lets users decide what postbit stats they want to see.

Additional permissions: Un-click a button. Control how many stats show on the statistics page, set permissions per subforum.

Integrated Controls: You can now integrate the button clicking controls into the post footer, like many of you requested.

Buttons in First Post Only: This allows you to only make the first post thankable. If you forum is based around news, releases or anything similar this will allow your users to easily see the quality of the thread in question.

Button Click Anonymity: This feature will be extremely helpful to forums who like the idea of a "dislike" button, but don't like the drama it brings. Now you can set certain buttons to be anonymous - no one will see who clicked.

Post Colour Thresholds: Ever wanted an easy way for members to tell if a post is helpful or trash? Colour thresholds let you change the colour of posts depending on how many clicks of a button they receive. Members can now see at a glance whether or not a post is helpful, interesting or pointless.

And, although here's still no v3.2.5 (but it will be ), I must say that it is really much more optimized, server load is noticeable, but bearable.

Now I have 25 posts per page, with older versions I needed to lower it to 10 posts per page to "neutralize" server load, now I think that even 20 posts per page would be fine, in worse case 15 posts per page would give even some advantage (of course, compared with server load with 25 posts per page).

Just to mention, I tested vBSEO's likes, they produced even bigger server load than older versions. Didn't tested Abe's thanks hack though.

So, this version (3.2.5) is very big step forward server load wise.

Also in the Pro Version, waiting for an update. It seems their own DBTECH site is affected by the same error. Disabled for now.

Redownload the pro version and reinstall it. Then go to Rebuild Button Click Cache in the Maintenance function in admincp and run that.

It cleared it up for me. Caution- your users will be set back to 0 ...

Regarding the v3.2.5 bug reports:

After noticing the issues with the v3.2.5 update I opted not to release this version here on vBulletin.org until the issues had been taken care of. I feel confident enough in the stability of this version that v3.2.5 Patch Level 1 will be available here tomorrow.

The PL1 release is a rollup of the hotfixes that have been released over the past week based on bug reports @ our site.

As you may have noticed, vBulletin.org threads are not the primary support resource for our products. We ask that if you download the mod from our site, please also post your support query on our site. This will enable us to help you much quicker, as we have multiple tools available to not only get notified of your support query, but also to debug your issue.

Lastly, we will never provide support for the Pro version in this thread. It's against vBulletin.org policies to promote the Pro version here, and we consider Pro support as promotion. For that reason, any support requests for the Pro version will be either overlooked or directed towards our site for support.

Thank you for your understanding

Fillip

Yes, Users will be set back to 0...but...If you go to Thanks/Like Maintenance and run each item everything will come back

The only other thing is the Thanks / Like in the users Profile as the new default feature of Recent Entries is 30 days. If you want some of these back go to the Thanks/Like Settings --> Scroll down to the bottom see... Recent Entries and perhaps change to 365 days or the number of day you would like...

Edit: better yet what Fillip said...I didn't see it his post as I was typing!
