Developer Last Online: Jan 2016
As of September 2015, the Panjo marketplace mod for vBulletin has been completely rearchitected.
You can learn more about the latest version of the mod on Panjo's vBulletin partner page. This mod enables you to launch a peer-to-peer community marketplace that is integrated into your vBulletin forum. Here is how it works: 1) Install the plugin. 2) Customize the categories you want in your marketplace. 3) Contact Chad at Panjo: chad@panjo.com to activate your marketplace. 4) When a seller goes to a new or old subforum dedicated to buying/selling/trading, and clicks on the "post new thread" button, the mod will load a listing creation form. 5) The seller will create a listing. The listing will appear in the marketplace. A synchronized copy of the listing will appear in the appropriate buy/sell/trade subforum. Is this plugin free? Yes, this plugin is free. Can you make money with this plugin? Yes, you can optionally use this plugin to generate marketplace transaction revenue. How is it with mobile? The marketplace loads with layouts that are optimized for high res desktop, tablet, and mobile. Examples: Porsche Marketplace <syncs with> Porsche classifieds subforum BMW Marketplace <syncs with> BMW classifieds subforums Audi Marketplace <syncs with> Audi classifieds subforums Belly dancing marketplace <syncs with> Belly dancing classifieds subforums Gallery: The marketplace home page A listing detail page The listing creation form for a seller Do you have questions about Panjo? Sir, the live sites were sufficient to satisfy my queries. It is indeed a very slick looking system and if my forum members are willing I'll most likely join in at some point after the Beta. |

We just installed it, did a test, and we're going to let our users give it a whirl.
We were actually looking at building [either by hand or otherwise] a classifieds section when, through serendipity, found Enthusify via Twitter. I think they have a rad product, I think our folks will like it, and we were trying to figure out how to do the exact thing. Will keep posting when we know more. In the meantime, if it sounds like a good idea, try it. They sound like good people who listen to feedback and will only work to make the product better. http://greenpoochie.com/forums/classifieds.php |

A couple people have asked about the music in the Enthusify vBulletin classifieds demo video.
That is "Level Up:" Level Up (retro arcade LOOP) |

We have gotten a few questions about the current payment processing fees. Version 1.0 (1.3.0) of this plugin charges a flat 10% fee for each purchase that uses the included payment processing option. (A buyer/seller are NOT required to use the included payment processing option.) We are currently working on the next release of the software that allows a forum owner to customize the payment processing fees and revenue share. A minimum fee is required in order to cover credit card interchange fees and other fixed costs of embedding a commerce module into vBulletin.

I think this is a great mod with a lot of potential and I do have to say they have great support and go above and beyond to help.
Here is another example of it in action http://vegaslsx.com/vbulletin/classifieds.php |

We just became aware of two bugs. We are working on fixes.
1) The first time a vBulletin 4.x user tries to list an item for sale she will see a message that says "sorry you do not appear to be logged in." If the user returns to the marketplace homepage and tries to list her item for sale a second time, it will work. This issue does not impact 3.x users. 2) Users of IE8 and IE9 can not add photos to their listings. I am also excited to announce that we are releasing a new fee structure to our beta partners. We will charge a flat 3% per successful sale and the forum can add anything it wants to that. A forum can choose not to add anything to that minimum fee. |
