possible to Log the used Browser Verison of each posting?

Is it possible with vbulletin not only to log the IP adress of a poster but also the exact browser version used for each posting?

Yes with a modification this should be possible. To get support here at vbulletin.org, we however ask you to first read the following:

You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to download hacks and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (vB-germany users click here) and enter your email address, to show us that you are licensed.

You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive. The update of your account may take up to one hour.

Thought this is the Pre-Sales Forum I dont have a vbulletion board up and running.

Out Problem ist, that we have an erotic-board online where many prostitutes and and their customers are posting their experiances. And as you can imagine theire are many Pros also posting as satisfied customers. Only by the IP adress its not possible to filter these fakes but with the added informations of the exact browserversion it would be much easier to keep the board fakefree. (okay, you can use different broxys and different browsers for faking but okay, most of the fakers we would catch with an Browserversion hack)

So I wanted to know if theire is an existing hack also logging the exact browserversion before we change to vbulletin.

I believe there is an addon who will do this, also I believe that a link was posted in your original presales question at .com.

Marco probally misread part of your question as a request and thought you wanted somthing else

It would be possible, but is not a default feature. It would require a modification. You can already have a look at the modification that are already offered here.

Once you are licensed you will also be able to download these modification, or request (paid/free) a modification to be made. This is a site with volunteers, so i can not garantuee that someone will make something for you.
