Log / Register through phpNUKE

So im converting one of my websites over to phpnuke
i know it has holes in the coding but thats not an issue as i keep TIGHT LOG and watch on the site.
never the less it should be still just as safe as it is now

but heres my question

As it stands now when you have a NUKE site and your general phpBB boards its active
anone who registers with the site is automatically registered and logged into the boards as well.
They dont need to reg with the main part of the site and then again for the VB
by the way
my current website has VB runing on it

is there a way to recode VB so that when someone reg - logs into my nuke site
they are also reg - logged into VB as well automatically?

i dont want to insert or integrate my VB as a module to the nuke section
All i will do is create a secondary menu atop the VB so they can get from the VB section of the server to the nuke section and back when needed
