Hey All,
I have created a simple table that has some information I would like to load on a page. Here is the problem. I can create a new page to query the database, stores the variables and build a new display page, but then I will not be using our vB templates or skins. Can I get some help to better understand where to start? I have tried a few different things, but everytime I end up with errors. I am having a hard time with understanding where to put the queries, what things need to be called on the xxx.php page, what can be pulled from the template tables, etc, etc... I guess, I am asking for alot, but some pointers, examples or tutorials would be great. thanks, I look forward to replies and learning more about the back end of vB. |
