Group,
What would cause Vbulletin to allow people to register their user name and email address but the message board tell them that an email has been dispatched to the email address they provided but no email ever shows up? I cant figure out if its something in the control panel or if maybe its something with the server that the message board is install onto. Thanks Doug |

Some providers use agressive Spam Filters and the mails end up in Spam folder. Let your members check if the mail is really nowhere.

What if your email address does not have spam filters to check and see if it went to the spam box?

Then your provider sucks. If they remove mail without giving you the chance to decide for your own if you want that mail, you better switch provider.

It has them. They just were not enabled by default. I did a little poking around in my settings. Very interesting whats in there that I can do with my account.
Ill have to try another registering and see if they go to the spam box this time. Doug |
