Hello friendly vb.org community!
I am trying to get my Hivemail "integration" a little more integrated with vB. As the devs at hivemail refuse to even look at certain issues, I was hoping someone here would be able to set me in the right direction. 1. If a member logs in at my vB, they can see the headers of unread messages in their userCP, but if they click through to read them (or into the hivemail for any reason), they have to log in to Hivemail at that page. The username and password are the same at both, but I don't know about the md5 side of things. I would like to set the HM cookie at login to vB, or send it to hivemail/index.php Form-style..whatever leads to people being logged in at both. 2. Currently, if a member signs up through the vB 'integration', lots of information is skipped, including 'secondary email' and 'secret question and answer'...quite important things that members may not enter themselves, and could later end up breaking their account (cos they can't get their password cos they have no question to answer, or secondary email to send it to.) How to go about adding those fields to the signup template? I understand that this would be somewhat difficult for someone who doesn't own a Hivemail licanse, but any hints or tips or prods in the right direction would help majorly. ![]() |
