Efficiency Tips and Other Pearls of Wisdom for New Admins?

I am working on helping a rather large site switch over to vbulletin. Their moderators and admins are used to other software and not vbulletin.

What are some tips you have learned over time that make using Vbulletin easier or better for you?

One example I thought of was moving a thread with a redirect from one forum to another to achieve pseudo cross-posting and keeping the conversation all in one place.

Another is that most advanced users don't read from forumhome or forumdisplay, instead they use the New Posts feature.

What are some of your efficiency tips?

i have no idea, but i've been using forums for years and hate the new posts function, although new threads may be different (which i beleive could be done via a url change), i much prefer to check specific forums.
