Colorize the calender

Is there a way to do any of the followings?

color the dates on the calender for individual days?
or
for alternating weeks? (1st and 3rd week one color while 2nd and 4th week are same color as eachother
or
to have this colorizing option viewable only when in MONTHLY view of the calender?

Does the calender suppor animated GIF images?

if so
Can i place an specific image to a specific date on the monthly view calender?

If all including the animated gif images are applicable then i should be able to change the BIRTHDAY image already sent with VB into any other image i choose it to appear as-
(creat new image > upload and name it the same as the birthday image)
