Default remote linking avatars
is there a mod to remote link avatars instead of having them upload???? :dead:

yes it is automatic in usercp i believe if you allow them to have custom avatars

For security reasons (=> SessionIDs in Referer-URLs) Avatars will always be stored locally.

Why? Bandwith?

I've never understood the reasoning behind storing avatars off the server outside of bandwith.

Besides i dont want IE to hang for 5 min because someone uploaded at first a small linked avatar then uploaded a new huge avatar that will take foregver to download.
