No support by the author.

Actually I didn't run into any problems, it was one of the easiest hacks to install... its just that

A few people are having problems typing or talking in it! I am sure that the problem originates form their browser config but I don't know what to tell them to fix it???

Have any Ideas?

Amg,
There are a few things that could be going on. Each user has to configure their own system for the microphone. There is a button under the chat window to configure your sound/microphone. They also need to make sure their microphones are plugging into the right jack on their sound cards. I know I had to play with mine a bit to get the mic and the speakers to work right.

Mac users aren't able to use HearMe at all. I don't know why, since I don't own a Mac, but a few of my users let me know about it.

Also, I think HearMe is changing over to a new voice server. In the past, sometimes I'd get bumped off of chat a lot, other times it worked great. I this in my email today:
