Default Winamp Security Breach
If you have any Winamp version older than 5.05 installed, you have a major security gap in your computer (even if you don't run it!).

It is critical that you patch it either way:
a) Upgrade Winamp to 5.05
b) Double Click "My Computer"/Tools/Folder Options/File Types, find extension "WSZ", click advanced and mark "confirm open after download"
OR
delete WSZ extension altogether.

No Winamp 5 is 2+3 thats where the 5 comes from, they just totally bypassed 4

nope, winamp 3 was there, but hardly anyone used it...
it was too resourceintense...

It was sorta like installing a small drain in your taskbar that all your memory ran out of.

3 sucked.

i used winamp 2 until 5 was released.

i just took a look at winamp 3 at a friends pc and then i knew i won't install it on mine

I find 5 leaks as well - I'm sticking with 2.93
