Email when a new hack is posted?

It might be a dumb question but is there a way to get emailed when a new host is posted?

there isn't one when a new hack is posted.. but if you click install, it's basically subscribing you to the thread..

you can always look at the right column on the vb.org home page to see new releases.. but i don't think there are email alerts..

If you subscribe to the parent forum of the hacks area, you should get an email everytime a new thread is made in that area.

That doesn't work it mails you for EVERY post last time i tried it.

The standard vBulletin 3 Forum Subscription feature doesn't have the option to send you an email with every post.

does as far as i know, but then again you'd know better

anyway if you were thinking about hacking this feature into vb.org i'd be against it, as people would only come for the hacks and never really to browse.

thirty some odd thousand members or so.. not like that many browse the forums, in the grand scheme, anyway.. i personally think it would be nice as you can then at look at the hacks as they come out.. especially if you buy a license late into the release of something.. it then becomes very hard to find what you may or may not need.. and the search function only goes so far when you need help..
