Hello All
Let me say, Im more than a little intimadated by the talent in this forum!
I give major props to all you guys and your sites! Ive spent hours crusin and checking out your sites! WOW is all i can say!

Well a bit about me... Im so newb I smell bad. :nervous: I dont understand any of the vocab that i read here and I dont understan anything accept the basic check and subit modifacations on my vB admin area.

So hopefully some of you good folks can give me a hand. Hopefully The questions I have wont boggle my pea sized brain...... :ermm:

Basicly all I would like to do to inhance my site is make up a nice home page similar to the vB.org homepage. Meyby show a table with calendar events, whos online, new posts, and a nice announcment area.

Any help for a wayyyyyy newbie?

You can try vBadvanced ( http://www.vbadvanced.com ) OR vBindex ( http://www.coreforums.net ) either works

imo, the only main differences between the two is vbadvanced has a better fitting small calendar, but vbindex has an integrated shoutbox.. i am not sure if they have done that with vbadvanced yet.. faranth would be able to answer that one.. past that, they both allow much of the same things..

We are looking at adding a shotbox but nothing is final

Hey Thanks!! That looks exactly like what I want. Im using vb2.3.4 everythings gonna hash ok? cuz I wouldnt know how to repair if i mucc things up. Thanks Faranth you have made me a verry happy little Jeep freak! :banana:

make sure that the hack you DL is for your version of VB. VB3 hacks are NOT compatible with VB2 hacks and vice versa.

Thanx for the warning... So in your opinion hows vB3 runing? Ive only posted 3times (Now lol) but it looks good to me. I cant wait till its givin the green light.

Im having trouble at the advanced site anyway... I cant DL anything yet or post to notifiy that im haveing an issue lol Im thinkin its a email thing. I havent recived email from the site with authorization.
