Hello,
I'm running phpBB board in one server and I just installed Vbulletin on a different server. My question is.. How can I just get the user information(username/passwords) and all the posted threads from phpbb and put it into vbulletin that is on a different server? Thanks in advance |

gldtn,
You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to download hacks and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (vB-germany users click here) and enter your email address, to show us that you are licensed. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive. Thank you. |

You can:
1. Install a testvb (see the license agreement) on the server with phpBB 2. Perform the conversion 3. Dump the vB database and move it to the vB server (http://www.vbulletin.com/manual/movingservers.html) 4. Delete the testvb |

I've read my license agreement and I installed the "testvb" on the server that has phpbb on. When I went to convert it, I did not find the link as mentioned in http://www.vbulletin.com/manual/import.html (To begin an import, click the link in the left-panel labelled 'BB Import Systems' (situated under the "Import & Maintenance" section)

There probably aren't any importers yet for 3.0.0 beta 3. I suggest you install 2.3.0, transfer the dump to the new server, and then upgrade on there.

Thanks
![]() edit: BTW, I wouldn't recommend installing vB3 at all. As it's a beta, it's generally not a good idea to use it on a production site. |
