Bold/Icon Admin posts

There's gotta be a hack for this already, but I've spent the last hour looking and can't find it -- so help!

What I'm looking for:
A hack that makes the thread title bold of a post started by admins...

or

A post started by admins is highlighted similar to the way a sticky post is (with a work or graphic after the title that calls attention to it)

or

a combination of the two

or

The ability for admins only to add smilies to their thread titles (hence creating their own call-out)
