What kind of server are you running vB on?

I'm just curious as to what kind of servers some of the larger vB sites are on. Server stats, loads, etc? What kind of bandwidth are you using? How big is your database? How much are you paying for hosting?

I'm getting a dedicated server very soon and I'd like to compare what I'm getting to a nice, fast vB site. I used to be on a shared server till about yesterday afternoon when I was told by my host that I was using over 600 mySQL connections and 40% of the CPU! (I figured out why this is so high.. persistant connections was set to 1 in config.php!! oops!!) How should this effect the site on the new server?

My site is http://midibuddy.net . (when it gets on the new server it'll be back up) I have over 15k member. The database is over 400mb (after reindexing the search index) and I used over 50gb of bandwidth last month. About average, I guess.. how does this compare to your board?

I clean database every 3rd month from inactive accounts (last time deleted +11000 accounts) and I delete some of the old threads as they are not relevant anymore (for my forum).

Current MySQL DB size is 130Mb
All of the attachments are stored outside of the MySQL DB (faster access + smaller DB, weee) which is about 1.2Gb.

500Mb RAM, 40Gb HDD
on 155Mbit line linked to 2 backbones in Germany

Latest vBulletin, PHP, MYSQL

Stats :
About 2Gb traffic per day
and too many hits, u don't want to know

Uptime + load : 4:55pm up 148 days, 20:02, 0 users, load average: 0.62, 0.64, 0.54

MySQL Stats : Queries/second = 22.724 (/hour = 81807.587)
