Okay I just bought my own owned vB license last night. (I've been on my friends for awhile). I want to add a usergroup that all new members get added to, and in this usergroup they can only see only 3 forums, and can post in only 1 (ie Introductions) after they make the first post they move into the registered usergroup and can see the rest of the board. How could I go about doing this. Thanks for any help that can be given.

hmm, i'd do it the other way round...
all new ones become registred ones and after posting got them into a new usergroup, then you just have to change one file: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...threadid=48457 |

highlight the lin when you edit the usergroups and you can see which id it has...

All I get is a bunch of numbers. That's all I see.

The line should appear like so:
usergroup.php?action=edit&usergroupid=[high]6[/high] Where 6 is the usergroupid you are editing. - miSt |
