Illegal vBulletin Copies...

I know we're instructed to report illegal copies of vBulletin if we stumble across them, but what about crack sites?
Do we report them to the same URL or do they go somewhere else?
What can be done about crack sites? Can they be closed?
Feedback on this also please (like your views on this subject, etc.).

I e-mailed piracy@vbulletin.com to clear up that point when I found a site distributing them. Either one is fine probably.

They have their ways. Since the sites are illegal it should be easy: contact the host, get their hosting cut, or the hosting company gets sued.

But what about warez sites that host themselves?

I know someone who hosts his own site from his own home (it's not warez - jus to clear that up)

So what would they do if this site hosted themselves?

Then their ISP gets contacted and they'll definitely get booted (running a server and using it for illegitimate purposes to boot).

Most people don't get illegal vb's that way. Most of the people end up nagging a friend right here from VB that has a membership and they hand out the VB's then give them the license info, ect. In my entire life I've seen one site that handed out free VB's and they were shut down.
