Im getting tired of ppl linking files to their sites, like screenshots, only to find out the shot is missing, or the site is down. Thats why we have an attatchments here. Already I've gone through 5 threads looking around, and while the mods sound cool, I have no way of knowing since the authors neglect to attach a file, instead linking it from their sites, and these almost never last for that long. Styles where instead of having a preview attached, they tell you to check out the live demo. Sure thats great, I'd rather see it live, but they should ALSO attach a preview just in case the site goes down or is changed and that style is no longer availible.

There should be a rule that a preview image of whatever, should be attached, not linked. I find very few reasons for linking elsewhere, unless the mod is terribly huge or something and you cant attach it.

Am I the only one who feels this way? I appreciate the ppl who work hard to make mods, but it really doesnt matter if I cant get to the mod when its missing, and Im not just talking about old mods posted ages ago, there are quite a few mods released 2 months ago or so and the files linked elsewhere are missing.
