I added $logincode to our custom Quick Reply template. The User Name & Password fields show up fine. But when I click "Post Reply" it's telling me that I have to login. How can I make that when I click "Post Reply" it should also log me in?

Hmm... I have the QRB installed, and added $logincode to the template, and it works fine. I allow guests to post, so the login username shows as unregistered, for regular members it shows their username. You can login/logout from there as well. Whats your QRB template look like?.

Currently I removed the User Name & Password fields since you can't login through there.

I just tested it on your board, and it does log me in when I enter my user name & password. What did you do? Did you just stick in the "$logincode" in there or you added some other words too?

If you don't allow guests to post, you might as well have your members login, then just use QR normally...

N9ne has a point. Why have the login there?

This hack is suppose to not show the qrb if you have no permissions to post

I edited the Quick Reply hack and made that it should show for all users (logged in OR not logged in).
Now, if someone is not logged in and sees the Quick Reply box I want them to be able to enter their User Name & Pass, click on Post Reply, and get logged in. However, that does not work.
I tried (for testing) to allow all users to post (even non-registered), and then when I entered a user name and password it DID log me in. However, when I only allow registered members to post, and I enter a user name and pass (in the User Name & Password fields I added to the Quick Reply hack) it does NOT log me in. How can I change that?

(P.S. for now I removed the User Name and Pass fields from there not to confuse my users).
