I tried using vB 2.2.3's global.php, admin/global.php, and admin/functions.php and was successful at using admin/global.php and admin/functions.php, but the global.php with which I replaced my old one made other pages where global.php was included go blank.
Any clue? ![]() |

upgrade the proper way. or even better backup your database and do a clean install. if you are not familiar how to proiperly backup your database, search the forums here or use phpMyAdmin. you might also consider to post "nonhacked board related" questions to vB.com (in case you don't have a hacked board

Using files from two different versions is even worse than not upgrading at all... especially when we are talking about the 2 most important files (functions.php and global.php).
