As the admin how do I limited the number of lines a usergroup can have with their signature?

I think I can switch it off but is there a way of limiting the amount someone puts in their signature?

I have a mod who has put in about 15 lines of text

I had previously adjusted that but it hasn't made a difference. Is there something else that that needs to be done?

Maintenance -> Empty Signature Cache

(If you have made changes that affect the output of signatures, you may use this to empty the cache and force signatures to be rebuilt with the new settings.)

You can make a plugin and chop the signatures off. (May look bad)
OR
Wrap the signatures in a div and make div scrollable so it is using a limited height say e.g 100px.

Wouldn't it be easier to tell the mod to shorten their signature?
