Hi all,
Forgive me if this has been done before but couldn't find any reference. I've setup my forum and I'm happy enough with it for now but I was wondering if it's possible to use a website builder such as squarespace or weebly and then have a tab that would go to the forum? I'm trying to create a decent homepage instead of landing straight on the forum. A way of informing the user what the site is all about etc. Would this be easy enough to do? |

Yes... all you would have to do is add the tab/link directed to the forums ... I have joomla as my homepage you can check it out here ...https://www.cagclan.com/

The only concern I would have is I have a friend who uses a "Website Builder" service at 1&1 hosting, but his hosting package doesn't include FTP access nor the ability to create additional MySQL databbases nor access to the database at all.
As long as the hosting package allows you to upload/remove files by FTP or a File Manager, access the database, create new databases, assign users to databases, set rights to users on the databases, and runs a version of PHP for the version of the VB software you want to run you should be fine. |

I started a Wordpress site as it was simple enough to install on the current server. Just need to create the right words.
