I turned off the autosave feature on our message board because I could not figure out where the text was being saved or how to get it back.
Now we have some users who take a long time to compose and likely need the feature. If I knew how it worked I would turn it on to see if it helps. Mostly I just found all those popup messages annoying before. |

If in the browser, is that the paste buffer?
How does one retrieve the contents of the autosave table? --------------- Added [DATE]1389797547[/DATE] at [TIME]1389797547[/TIME] --------------- Cool. If you have content in the autosave buffer (table) a button appears in the lower border of the edit window prompting you to restore the autosave when you open a new edit window. --------------- Added [DATE]1389797689[/DATE] at [TIME]1389797689[/TIME] --------------- The old annoying "autosaving" popup message seems to be gone also. |
